Consumer Reviews
I purchased these for my moms' new Nissan Versa W/grey interior. I believed they would be a really good temporary substitute for the pricier ($180) custom match seat covers that I was seeking to get from yet another vendor. I didn't definitely have extremely high expectations given a price tag point of $18. Boy was I shocked when I checked in with her to see if she had recieved them. She "LOVED" them and went on and how they had been a great match, and just the right color, and very easy to install as she had already put them on etc. In some cases you get lucky, I undoubtedly did for a tenth of what I was ready to spend.
Now I'll be curious as to how they put on, but for 18 bucks I am not also worried.
Received and installed in 2008 Camry. Installation took about 10 minutes. A single piece unit slips over top of seat and clips tie in the back. I removed the headrests just to make it easier, but it wasn't important. Leading of seat cover and bottom of headrests have "ties" created of fabric, to tie just after installation. A fabric "flap" is intended to slip among the seat cushion and seat back (through the crack in the seat), to allow connection to the bottom of the seat cover back, behind the seat, but the Camry seat will not enable this so I just tucked the added flap away.
Repairing seams in the seat cover that split through installation, took about 30 minutes (much less hassle than returning the product for replacement). Completed installation looked fine and I didn't have to cut any holes for the installation. (Energy seat controls are covered up by the seat cover but can be controlled via the thin fabric rear seat pockets are now covered by the fabric and no longer usable.) Although the general high-quality is low, the product fits, appears that it will do the job and final at least a couple of years, and at least now, it looks fine.
